The Terence O'Grady Club (For Adults with a Learning Disability)

The club provides a range of social and leisure activities for adults with a learning disability. There is limited provision for wheelchair users. The club has two qualified leaders - one a Special Needs Teacher and the other a Qualified Nurse. The leaders are supported by some 20 volunteer helpers with a range of experience and qualifications.

The club has a very active committee which meets four times a year, also an eight strong members committee which meets regularly and passes on members' comments and wishes to the main committee meetings on a two member rotational basis. The club and its operations are fully insured - a full range of policies in line with the recommendations of Royal Mencap are in place.

Various activities include: A range of leisure pursuits including: Pool Air hockey•Indoor bowls Jigsaws Computers Bingo Dancing Discos Live entertainment Light refreshments are provided. All club activities are undertaken on a single floor level Find us on Facebook.
